My dad took his first journey away from this continent in his 54 year life. I envy him. I have only been as far west as Indiana and as far south as Tennessee. He and my Uncle Reed vacationed to Singapore and Thailand.We watched the news every night to hear reports of a Hickory, PA man being caned for not following proper etiquette in Singapore and the punishment resulting in a caning. Remember Michael Fay?
